received the Engineer degree in Artificial Intelligence in 2005 and MSc degree in 2007 from Université des Sciences et de la Technologie d’Oran, Algeria. In 2014 he received his PhD degree from the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) of Université du Québec, Canada. During his PhD he worked in collaboration with the Centre de recherche informatique de Montréal (CRIM) on the Speaker characterization problem in the so-called i-vector space. His research interests are concentrated in the application of pattern recognition and machine learning methods in order to improve the robustness of the speaker recognition systems in more realistic environments.
